My experiences as a member and volunteer at Iglesia Victoria en la Cruz
June 2020 - present
Teaching Assistant
As a teaching assistant, I gave a monthly Bible class to kids during the Summer of 2020. I also attended the classes that I was not scheduled to teach, during the semester. Attending these classes helped me grasp how to give Bible classes to kids, and keep in mind to be dynamic when teaching them.
As a teaching assistant to the youth Bible class, I also teach a monthly Bible class, since Jan. 2021. However, I am not going to be attending the youth Bible classes as the semester progresses (effective July 2021), due to being grouped with the adult Bible class cohort.
April 2019 - April 2020
Family Group Secretary
As the Twin Pines community Family Group secretary, I kept a record of the guests and members that attended the service. I also wrote a short summary of the preaching done in the services. The Family Group services have been put on hold, as of April 2020.
April 2018 - present
Usher
As an usher I warmly greet guests and church members. I also keep guard of the front door, and escort children to the bathroom when needed. If people respond to the Pastor's calling when the preaching is over, I help the other ushers as is needed.
Other duties I perform as an usher include quickly cleaning the church after service is over, arranging seats, emptying the trash, and providing customer service to the Pastors.

Youth Ministry Member
As a youth member of the church, I have participated in the choir for Sunday services, in youth retreats, and Sunday Bible studies.
