
About me
Arimar J. López Limas
I was born in Puerto Rico, where I lived until Fall 2017.
While living in Puerto Rico, I studied at the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico-Ponce Campus (PUCPR) from 2015-2017, where I was majoring in Pre-Veterinary studies.
I transferred to the University of Central Florida, in 2018, and graduated in May of 2021 with a Bachelor's degree in Biology. I participated in the Honors Undergraduate Thesis Program, at the University of Central Florida from Spring 2020 - Spring 2021, in which I developed a unique thesis regarding the visual system in hard-bodied ticks, with the help of my thesis committee.
In Fall 2023, I started my graduate studies through the Master's in Public Health (Epidemiology concentration) at the University of Florida.
